Welded Base
414 - A super fine welded lace base, it is the most delicate of all welded base materials. This type of base can only handle a certain amount of weight on the base, so it is very important to make sure that the hair length combined with the density does not outweigh the recommended weight for this unit.
616 - A fine welded lace base, a little stronger than the 414. The 616 can hold more hair than the 414 base. You still have to make sure that the hair length combined with the density does not outweigh the recommended weight for this unit.
88 - Strongest of all the welded bases. This base can hold any hair length and any density.

Fine Mono
Fine Mono is one of the most durable bases that we make. A fine mono can hold any density and any length. This base type is a woven mono and therefore, it must have a binding around the perimeter of the unit to keep it from unraveling. The binding can be many different types of material such as a skin, ribbon, or pu-coated edge. Fine mono is also called M-mesh and even 51.

Skin
Keep in mind on skin units the longer the hair or the heavier the density requested the thicker the base. For example, if you are ordering an XTS with 12” hair length and 120% density, due to the hair length, it is no longer an XTS.
